How unfortunate can one be!
“Hahaha, are you dumbstruck?” Sang Cai shuffled the cards and said, “No cheating now, draw a card quickly.”
Tong Sui took a deep breath.
He reached out and drew a card from the pile. When he flipped it over and saw the content, he instantly froze.
“What is it? Let me see,” Sang Cai took the card from his hand and revealed it—
“Dare: Kiss the second person to your left across a tissue for ten seconds.”
The second person to Tong Sui’s left was Zhong Yi.
The comments were flooding in:
— So exciting!
— Was Zhong Yi saving the solar system in his past life?
— We’re all so familiar, why a tissue? That’s so awkward!
— Wow, the wife’s face is so red, her pillow is about to be crushed. Could this be her first kiss?
Zhong Yi was stunned, as if a heavy stone had fallen on his head, leaving him dizzy.
What kind of dare is this?
He had never kissed anyone, and he wanted to save his first kiss for his future beloved; how could he just give it away for a game?
Even if it was through a tissue, this was still too much.
Zhong Yi turned his head and saw Tong Sui, who was curled up on the sofa, his long eyelashes adorned with a few glistening tears, creating a small ball in the sofa.
For some reason, the image of Chi Xingyu holding Tong Sui’s hand echoed in his mind. He glanced at Chi Xingyu and saw his displeasure.
The rejection he felt inside diminished significantly, and he even actively bent down to open a pack of tissues.
Hearing that crisp sound, Tong Sui was completely stunned. He thought Zhong Yi, who even calculated in the passenger seat, would never agree to such a daring feat.
Feeling the attention of everyone on him, Tong Sui reluctantly stood up, took a tissue, and for the first time realized how thin a piece of tissue could be.
He walked past Chi Xingyu and came to Zhong Yi, unsure of where to place his hands and feet.
Zhong Yi leaned against the back of the chair, spreading his legs to either side, even brushing against Chi Xingyu beside him.
Tong Sui nervously swallowed, slowly inching closer. One knee pressed into the small space Zhong Yi made, while one hand rested on Zhong Yi’s shoulder.
It looked as though Tong Sui had pushed Zhong Yi down in the chair.
Tong Sui’s other hand clutched the tissue, trembling from nerves.
He placed the tissue on Zhong Yi’s lips and leaned in for a kiss.
Suddenly, everything fell silent.
The only sound was Chi Xingyu grinding his teeth, as if he wanted to devour Zhong Yi.
Tong Sui mustered all his courage to get closer. In that moment, he felt his heart racing wildly, the hand on Zhong Yi’s shoulder uncontrollably trembling.
This act was far too intimate for him; even just a simple touch through a piece of tissue allowed him to feel each other’s breath.
Zhong Yi was no better off than Tong Sui.
At the moment Tong Sui leaned in, he tensed up like a drawn bowstring, his hands clenched into fists at his sides.
It felt as if something was collapsing in his mind.
That was a line he had held for many years.
Maybe it was the mysterious night or the enchanting lights reflected in the pool that added layers of emotion to their kiss.
The existence of the tissue seemed to have been ignored, as if they truly kissed in front of everyone.
Chi Xingyu, biting down on his back teeth, was bombarded with countless intense thoughts. As soon as the time was up, he pulled Tong Sui up without hesitation.
“Time’s up.”
Tong Sui, who had been bracing himself, stumbled forward as Chi Xingyu yanked him, and before he could react, he fell onto Chi Xingyu’s legs.
He was almost enveloped by Chi Xingyu from behind, watching him pull out a wet wipe, gritting his teeth, he asked, “Do you want to wipe it yourself or should I help you?”
Tong Sui’s mind was blank as he stared dazedly, “Wipe what?”
A cold laugh unique to Chi Xingyu rang in his ears.
The next second, a wet wipe, icy against his lips, was pressed onto him, scrubbing viciously back and forth, as if trying to rub the skin off Tong Sui’s mouth.
Tong Sui, who was inherently delicate and sensitive to pain, couldn’t handle the rough treatment and hurriedly pressed down on his hand, “It hurts.”
Hurts?
Chi Xingyu felt that he was the one getting a headache from the anger.
He hadn’t anticipated that so many surprises would greet him right when the show began, forcing him to watch his kid kiss someone else. Even if it was a game, even through a tissue, he couldn’t accept it.
Especially after Zhong Yi kissed, he still wore that dazed expression, as if he wasn’t done yet.
Chi Xingyu’s blood pressure skyrocketed.
Chi Xingyu said, “Why didn’t it hurt when you kissed him?”
“I didn’t want to either, I couldn’t help it since I drew this card,” Tong Sui whispered, “Why are you blaming me…”
His voice was small and laden with grievance, delicate tears glistening on his long eyelashes, his lips reddened from being rubbed, ensnared in Chi Xingyu’s embrace.
Tong Sui looked at him with a gaze and tone filled with complaints, causing Chi Xingyu to momentarily be taken aback. He struggled to restrain himself but found his gaze lingering on Tong Sui’s lips.
Even his Adam’s apple bobbed.
Tong Sui sensed his gaze and felt an animal-like instinctive fear, quickly standing up and burrowing into his own small sofa, covering most of his face with a pillow.
Chi Xingyu hesitated about whether to pull him back.
Seeing this, Sang Cai quickly said, “This round of dare is over! I propose that if it’s too extreme, we can substitute it with drinking, or I’m afraid the limits will be too big to air.”
